formula help
i've got a spreadsheet that has B10 through Y10 (all the way down through
B51-y51). i've got the following formula =SUM(BOONE:VERKAMP!B10). how do I go about setting up the spreadsheet with this formula without having to do each box seperately (b10, c10, d10, b11, c11, d11 and etc)? |

Your formula is using relative references, if you copy and paste it should
change the ranges accordingly (the cell below will get B11, the cell on the right C11, etc). Is this what you were asking? Miguel. ok that work great if it were a small spreadsheet. but I've got 3
spreadsheets total of 2952 boxes. my hand will fall off if I copy and paste each one. someone had accidently deleted the original formula's for this spreadsheet and I was given the task to fix it as the person who did it is no longer with the company. isn't there a way to do the whol spreadsheet at once? thanks Jeannette "Miguel Zapico" wrote: Your formula is using relative references, if you copy and paste it should change the ranges accordingly (the cell below will get B11, the cell on the right C11, etc). Just drag it down or across - B10 is a relative reference, so will
automatically change to C10, B11 etc "sunrosejenn" wrote in message ... i've got a spreadsheet that has B10 through Y10 (all the way down through B51-y51). i've got the following formula =SUM(BOONE:VERKAMP!B10). how do I go about setting up the spreadsheet with this formula without having to do each box seperately (b10, c10, d10, b11, c11, d11 and etc)? |
