How do I view the actual numeric value of a formula in Excel 2002.
In MS Excel 2002 I am unable to see the numeic formula in the worksheet.
(i.e. if you add "2" to cell ref A1 and "2" to cell ref A2 and sum the figures you will have your answer. To check your formula you hit F2 which allows you to view the formula "=sum(A1:A2)". I would like to see the actual numeric value in this case 4 not the formula when using the F2 key. IN MS EXCEL 97 we are able to see the numeric value by clicking on Tools/Options/Edit and UNCHECK the Box "Edit Directly in Cell" By doing this you will be able to see the numeric value in the worksheet and the formual in the formula bar. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank You, GB |
