Is there a way to split a cell containing the following information

eyerly david j eyerly jennifer k which is = to
last name First Middle Int. Last Name First Middle Int.

So i want the last name in one column and the first in another and i dont
need the middle initial but if its easier to keep it when splitting that is
find. My main focus is to get the last name in on cell.

Thank you,

Hi
One way is to use Data/Text to columns. Make a backup before you start,
highlight your column and use delimited and <space as the delimiter.

Hope this helps.
Andy.
