can the negative numbers in an IF statement be in a diff color th.

can i make the negative numbers in an IF formula automatically change color
to show the difference between negative numbers or positive numbers. (Red
negative, Blue positive)

You could use one of two ways to achieve this.
1) Format Cells
Number
Select one of the red items for negative numbers.
or
Custom
[Blue]0,000;[Red](0,000)
which will have blue as your positive number and red with parrens for your
negative numbers.

or

2) Use the Conditional Formatting
If cell <0 red font
If cell 0 blue font

Either of these ways you will be formatting the cell based on value and not
driving from formula itself.
