Vlookup Troubles

Hi guys...

Here is my problem: In our office we have a workbook that we all use with a
vlookup to enter data from a table.

The vlookup will work on some computers but not on others!! What in the
world could the problem be?

Thanks for any help you can give !!!

Vlookup Troubles

Hi
If the VLOOKUP doesn't work, what do you get? #REF? #N/A? #VALUE? It could
be that the regional settings are different and where you have a comma,
theirs needs a semicolon.

OK I got it. You go into Tools\Options\Calculations and click automatic.
Now why would some systems (we are all on the same network) be set to auto
and others not? None of us have changed the settings.

Thanks for any help

This setting is determined by the first book opened during the session. It
must be that the first book opened today has it set to Manual - and that
means they all will.

Hope this helps.
