how to change the h:mm format to number?
When calculating hourly pay, I need to change the format of h:mm to number,
then time hourly rate. For example: 8 hrs & 25 mins. I need to turn 25min into 0.42hrs. 8.42 hrs*10= $84.20 |
Supposing that A1 houses a true time value like 8:25 (formatted as
[h]:mm)... =A1*24*HourlyRate Bel wrote: When calculating hourly pay, I need to change the format of h:mm to number, then time hourly rate. For example: 8 hrs & 25 mins. I need to turn 25min into 0.42hrs. 8.42 hrs*10= $84.20 |
=A1*24, format as number, not time.
