Help extract numerous text files and how to use avg formula
Hi,
I have numerous text files (300+) i want to extract into one excel spreadsheet. Each text file is approx 1800 lines with the same format. I know Excel doesn't support that many rows, hence I would like a way to extract one text file into excel (step 1), reduce the number of lines by taking an avg every 30 lines (step 2) so I would be reduced to 60 lines per text file, then continue to extract the next text file on the list i created (step 3). Anyone with ideas? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance Wendy |
