autofill worksheet references?
I am using a vlookup fomula in one worksheet whick looks up the data for each month....Jan, Feb, March... are the column headings. It looks up values in another workbook, with worksheets for each month...Jan, Feb, March...are the worksheet names. Is there a way to autofill the vlookup formulas to change to avoid retyping the Month reference.? autofill worksheet references?
Example: sheet1 looks like this:
Jan Feb Mar foo Janfoo Febfoo Marfoo bar Janbar Febbar Marbar foobar Janfoobar Febfoobar Marfoobar Spreadsheet Jan looks like (extrapolate for spreadsheets Feb and Mar): foo Janfoo bar Janbar foobar Janfoobar Formula in sheet1: =VLOOKUP($A2,INDIRECT("'" & B$1 & "'!$A$2:$B$4"),2,FALSE) -- Kevin Vaughn "nihad" wrote: I am using a vlookup fomula in one worksheet whick looks up the data for each month....Jan, Feb, March... are the column headings.
