Default Speed up calculation of a worksheet that contains formula

In my file i am having formulae (about 52 columns), while copying the formula
the calculating cells take huge time. How to improve the speed?

Vennilla.

Turn the calculation to manual - then it will ONLY recalculate when you
want it to

Also, once the results are calculated, you can fix the values unless
you really want to keep the formulae - highlight all the cells with
formulae in, click <copy then Edit | Paste Special | Values (check),
OK, then <Enter.

Hope this helps.
