How to protect Option button in worksheet
Good day everybody,
I use Excel to create a form for user to fill up. There is a set of Option buttons which is for my own use where I want to protect them from be select/change by user. I have set the Format ControlProtectionLocked ticked. But after protect worksheet, I can still select/change the Option buttons. Can someone tell me how to protect the Option buttons? Thanks in advance. Have a nice day & Happy New Year. Best regards, Julie |
Hi Julie-
Your option buttons should be protected. While the user may be able to click the option buttons, they cannot alter them and change the cell link. After 1 or 2 clicks, the user should receive a protection message. HTH Jason Atlanta, GA -----Original Message----- Good day everybody, I use Excel to create a form for user to fill up. Thanks Jason for your response.
However, the option buttons do change when they are click eventhough the worksheet is protected. Did I miss anything? I am using Excel 2002 (10.6501.6626) SP3.
