import txt create sheet name
I was wondering if it is possible to have a Macro that looks down a worksheet
for a particular date that uses a cell on another worksheet as reference and then creates a new worksheet with the name automatically changed to the same cell reference. (i.e. dates work completed in column A Worksheet1 but I want to sepearte all work carried out on 01/05/2005 which is a date in C2 Worksheet2 and copy these to a new worksheet named according to C2 Worksheet2. The cell contents could be changed each time before the macro is run. Please can someone stop my nightmare! |

I need to be able to input script in a macro that say, for instance, I have a
telephone engineer that does 15-20 jobs per day and I would like to check each one for a particular date. I would like to be able to input this date on a spreadsheet and have the macro look at that date and create a new worksheet in the name of that date........ A4 has 1/5/6 input, I need the macro to look at A4 and if it has an input~(which in this case it does) in it then create a spreadsheet of the same name. the problem is that each time I run the import macro I may need different dates and possibly more than one. hope this clears it up. Thanks Bagger "MattShoreson" wrote: a little bit unclear as to exactly what you are asking.
