Protected worksheet with unprotected cells i.c.w. remarks
 

I have a worksheet, which is protected. On the sheet there are several
unprotected cells. Other user should have the possibilty to add remarks at
the unprotected cells. But, although the cells are unprotected, it seems not
possible for them to add remarks. The option is light grey (=inaccassible).
Is there another solution to this? I don't want to give them my password for
the sheet.

I think when you protect it, you can uncheck the box for objects and this
will enable the users to insert comments (into both locked and unlocked
cells).

There may, however, be other objects on your worksheet that you don't want
to allow access to, so you should play with it a little and see this will
allow access to other things you don't want the user's to have access to.
