Comparison result changes font color

I want to compare 2 cells. If cell a1 is less than cell a2, then I want cell
a1 to be red. How do I do that?
Thanks.

Use Conditional Formatting.

Select cell A1. Go to Format MenuConditional Formatting. Condition 1
should be:

Box 1, Cell Value is: box 2, less than box 3, A2

Click on Format, Patterns Tab. Select the color you want to have A1
fill if the condition is true. Click OK, OK.
