NORMDIST function
 

I really am not sure how to use this funtion in relation to the
question I have been given. If anybody could help me that would be
great.

mean = 178.5
Stdev = 6.32

The question is What proportion of male university students are
expected to have a height between 170 and 180cm?

If anyone could lead me in the right direction that'd be sweet!

2 6.32
3 170
4 180

=normdist(a4,a1,a2,true)-normdist(a3,a1,a2,true)
