a text array formula
Brand new user, appreciate the help! I have a contact data in a specific vertical index in a single column. I wanted to set up an array forumla to automatically transpose the data horizontally. Couldn't do it because obviously the array function can not use text. I then tried to set up a simple replacement fuction (=AXX) into each cell. But that wouldn't work, because as I moved horizontally the Column would change. I quit, and then simply did the manual transpose. a text array formula
Hello EMCUE,
Check out the TRANSPOSE function. Ensure the range is of the same size and confirm with Ctrl + Shift + Enter. Nb: You cannot change one part of an array if entered like this. An easy way to select the entire array is to select one cell in the array, press F5 | Specail | Current array.
