To Protect Excel documents and allowing only few cells to edit
 

I would like to Protect a Excel Sheet leaving only few rows for editing(data
entry) purpose how this can be done. If I give protect sheet the whole
document is protected and I am unable to edit.

Hi Dhanraj,

Select the rows you want to enter data into. Right click and choose
Format Cells -Protection. Then uncheck Locked. Then go to Tools -
Proctecion - Protect Sheet and accept default.
