Data Entry Using Pulldown
I want to simplify entry of data into a large array. Here is the problem: I
have an array of data, each cell of which is associated with a corresponding NAME (row of names at the top--a3:a60) and TASK (column of tasks--a2:z2). My current method of entering data into this array is to scroll over to the particular NAME and down to a particular TASK then enter a number into the intersecting cell. It involves a lot of scrolling. I would like to create a pulldown of the NAME's, thus dealing with only one column of data along side of the TASK column. BUT, I want to be able to expand to the array when necessary or when printing the whole spreadsheet. I know there is a solution. Can anyone help? Ben |
