How do I create a formula by percentage within a formula?
I need help. I created a salary expense worksheet and i already have a
formula created in one of the cells. the problem is asking to create a formula to reduce 25% of anything by multiplying the --- by 75%. How can I do that when I already have a formula in that row/column? |

Use another cell that points to the cell with the formula and do the
calculation or copy and paste special the values in the formula column, then put 0.75 in an empty cell, copy it, select the values and do editpaste special and select multiply. i would definitely use the first alternative. -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom Northwest Excel Solutions www.nwexcelsolutions.com (remove ^^ from email address) Portland, Oregon "Miss Texas" <Miss wrote in message ...
