How do i freeze columns over several tabs/datasheets? Contents of these
columns are hyperlinks. Intention is to have less work filling in these
columns in different tabs/datasheets of the same workbook

Look into using Protection.

You have to protect a whole sheet, and then UN-Protect the cells that you
want users to be able to edit.
Also read up on templates, since they may help you as well.
