Keeping Row 1 at the top during a Data Sort...
How can I keep row 1 at the top (header row) during a data sort using the
Icon buttons "A-Z SORT (Ascending)" or "A-Z SORT (Decending)" ?? When I use the menu... "data" "sort" "with header row" it all works right... but when I click either "A-Z SORT" icon it takes in the header row instead of leaving it at the top as row 1. Even when I have row 1 "frozen". Appreciate any help here... bro. Billy <+< |
Hi bro.Billy,
Format the headers in some way so that Excel can guess that they are headers and should not be included in the sort. Setting the header font as bold or underline worked for me as should applying a color fill or font color. --- Regards, Norman "bro. Billy <+<" wrote in message ... Insert a blank row between your headers and your data
