Excel: Formula worked last week but now stoppped working.

Excel: Formula worked last week but now stoppped working.
I have too many calculations to redo them. XPspk2 might have been installed
since last week.
Jo :)

User

Sorry. Yeh I know you need more detail.

I have about 140 numbers in a colum from D5 to D145. At the bottom there is
a total, adding the cells in the colum together. When I change lets say cell
D50's number in it, the total at the end must also change reflecting the
number that was changed in this cell. Now when I change any cell in the
colum's value, the total stays the same.

I treid re-installing, repairing & redoing the formula...no luck. By the
way: When I open a new worksheet and do formulas in it, all is well in that
sheet.

Seems like only the recent(last week or so) work is effected?

Hope this makes sence...?

Jo

Tools / Options / Calculation Tab / Tick Automatic as opposed to Manual

Hi Jo

Anything change when you press F8 ? If so then calculation is turned off.
Reset it in the Tools Options menu.

HTH. Best wishes Harald
