![]() I am trying to do a summation with two variables: one by category, which is listed in a column form and one by date, which is included in a horizontal row. Would anyone have an idea as to how to do such a formula? Are you really trying to do a =sumif() or are you trying to find the value for
that category under that date? If you are trying to find that value, then take a look at Debra Dalgleish's site: http://www.contextures.com/xlFunctions03.html (for =index(match())) especially example 2: http://www.contextures.com/xlFunctio...ml#IndexMatch2 jcastellano wrote: I am trying to do a summation with two variables: one by category, which is listed in a column form and one by date, which is included in a horizontal row.
