Default maximum number of letters which can be entered in excell shell

How long can be the text entered in the excell shell? I have quite long text
and only approximately 3/4 of the text is printed out

I assume SHELL is typo for CELL

In Help search for SPECS (specifications) and you will find
Length of cell contents (text) 32,767 characters. Only 1,024 display
in a cell; all 32,767 display in the formula bar.
