how do I remove the ( ) & - from a list of phone #s (aprx 22K #s)...

Do Edit - Replace. In Find what, put "(". In the Replace it with space put
nothing at all. Click Replace All.
Do that with the ")" and the "_" as well.
If you end up with a space where you don't want it, do it again. This time
in Find What, put " ". Note that the quotes have a space between them.
Replace that with nothing at all. HTH Otto

You can use a FIND/REPLACE.

Highlight your range of phone numbers
Select "Replace..." from the Edit Menu.
In the "Find what" field, enter the first symbol (
In the "Replace with" field, leave it blank
Click "Replace All"
Repeat for the other two symbols
