How to calculate sum per category?
 

Hey there

Does anybody know how I can calculate the sum of a range of numbers,
but only if they are in a specific category?

Example table in Excel: look attachment

Use SUMIF function

=SUMIF(Source range,criteria,sumrange)

e.g. SUMIF(A1:A6,1,B1:B6)
