How do I set up a commission calculation chart w/ "if" condition?
I am trying to set up a formula where a commission amount is calculated based
on the amount of sales an individual makes during a period. Say, if the sales amount is below $3000, the commission % is 1% (ie commission amount would be $30, which is $3000x1%). If the sales amount is greater than $3000 but less than $6000, the commission % is 1.5. If the sales amount is greater than $6000 but less than $8000, the commission % is 2%. So on and so forth...2.5%,3%, 3.5% up to 5%. Can this formula be set up in Excel? If anyone knows, I would appreciate if you could let me know via or I can call you on long distance if you give me the phone number. Best regards, John |
