Maximum no of rows in Excel
 

Dear All,

Working on a large file of data, wondering what is the max. rows in excel it
can handle? Also, the maximum rows in Pivot table?

Hi Kalz

maximum rows per worksheet is 65536
and according to help the number of row fields in a pivot table is limited
by available memory

Max number of rows: 65536 for Excel 97 or newer
Max number of rows in Pivot table: Depend on the memory remained
