I want to put a bank account number that begins with 00 in Excel.
Because of warnings about keylogging, I want to use Excel for my bank and
credit card numbers so I can copy and paste the numbers instead of keying them in. But my bank account # starts with 00 and when I key the number the first two 0s are automatically removed. I would like to keep them there and cant see how to format the cell so they stay |

Try Format Cells and then go to Custom and put in '00000000' or however many digits your bank accounts are long. Not sure if that is the best solution, but it might work for a small project. -- ForSale ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ForSale's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=11896 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=520438 |
