Will Excel import a spooled file to look the same every month?
I take a "spooled" file from a DOS based program every month and I need to
open it into an Excel spreadsheet. Do I need to use a Macro or some other function to make it import information into the same cells (and how would I go about doing that) since the spooled file does not bring in the information in the order I need it, or am I just going to have to do the worksheet over and over. The worksheet is to show our customers in top buying order and profit margins. We run Office XP. |
Hi
this depends on the structure of your imported file. How do you import it currently (maybe you could record these steps with the macro recorder) -- Regards Frank Kabel Frankfurt, Germany "teamo333" schrieb im Newsbeitrag ...
