Linked cells from ActiveX control
 

I have 64 combo boxes, all are using linked cells so that I can perform
functions based on the user's selection.

Although the values contained within each combo box comes from an array of
numerical data (formatted Number General), the linked cells contain the
correct value, although they are being formatted as Text. Even applying cell
formatting as Number (0 decimal places) does not seem to help. Anytime the
corresponding combo box is changed, it reformats the linked cell as text,
causing my formulas not to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
