Workbook help
Hi,
I woonder if someone can help me i have the following workbook which comprises of the follwoing data: W/E 08/01/05 W/E 15/01/05 TOTAL VOLUME 27218 22398 DAYS 14495 12059 INTERS 11981 9869 NIGHTS 742 470 The workbook above then displays for each week , for example w/e 22/1/2005 ans so on. What i want to do is put this in another workbook where the weeks are down the side , please see example: Month Days Inters Nights W/E 08/01/05 W/E 15/01/05 W/E 22/01/05 W/E 29/01/05 W/E 05/02/05 W/E 12/02/05 And then the days is populated with the sums for that given week. It sounds simple but the problem i have is the week number is in cell d4 on one workbook and total in d6. When i do a = sign and drag this over so the totals are displayed above it displays E4 when i actually want d6 ='[GOODS IN COMPARISON.2005-2006.xls]VOLUME BY SHIFT 2005 v 2006'!D4 (brings back the date How do i get round this without having to do an equal sign on every line Please advise Rgds Gordon |
