hyperlink that are relavant to a work book not a computer
i want to hyperlink pictures in a spread sheet so that i can send to a
client, but in doing so hyperlinking a pic works fine on my pc, but once i send the workbook the client can not veiw the pictures as the hyper link looks for the file path that it was oringinaly create, how do i hyperlink these pictures so that can be relvant to the workbook? |

I don't recall seeing a warning about hyperlinks. Links: yes, hyperlinks: no.
What message are you getting? Alternatively, you might be able to use the HYPERLINK function. In that, you explicitly enter the path. Check Excel Help for more information. A Very simple fix for you would be aquire some webhosting for your pictures
something similar to a photobucket account. Use this for storing your non secure pictures (not that I don't trust the file storage places but just to be on the safe side). Then hyperlink to the web addy. Crude, yes, but it works and is user friendly.
