how to add a % to amounts in excel
i have the stadard excel worksheet up , now in line A i have prices all the
way downfrom 1 to 1000 all diferent prices. now i want to add a persentage to each of these price value, with out having to do one at a time , how do i do this? |

enter in cell b2 =a1*1.15 (for a 15% increase)
and copy the cell all the way down to row 1000. Enter your increase in a blank cell, e.g., to increase by 6%, enter
1.06 in a blank cell. Copy the cell. Select the prices to change. Choose Edit/Paste Special, selecting the Values and Multiply radio buttons. Click OK.
