Hyperlinks: open directly in Excel?

When I import data to Excel, 1 column is a for hyperlink to html file. But I
have to double click each one, then click somewhere else, then click back on
it to turn it into a hyperlink format ("auto correct"). Any way to make this
column default to making them hyperlinks?
