List info if criteria is met?
From my check register I would like to list the outstanding checks in order
to reconcile. How can I have the outstanding checks listed on another sheet in the file? |
List info if criteria is met?
Hi Lynn
Without bothering to move them to another sheet, why not mark your header row, DataFilterAutofilter and use the dropdown on the reconciliation field to select just the blanks. If you do want to move them to another sheet, Used Advanced Filter. Debra Dalgleish has some excellent instructions at http://www.contextures.com/xladvfilter01.html -- Regards Roger Govier "Lynn" wrote in message ... Hi!
You need to provide a much more detailed explanation. For example: Where are the outstanding checks? How do you know they're outstanding? You obviously "mark" them when they've cleared. How do you mark them? Where is the mark? What exactly do you want listed? The check numbers? The amounts? Both? The total amount of all outstanding checks? Where do you want to list this data?
