Hours multiplied by money
 

I'm sure somebody knows this one. I need to get my hours worked when not
complete hours to multiply by a number that represents the hourly pay; what
is the formula when Excel counts 30 mins as .30 of an hour?

Hours multiplied by money
 

Mod(decimal hours,1) will get you part hour
if this is divided by 0.6 you will get your decimal minutes
so multiply this by the hourly rate

if minutes in cell A1 and rate is in b1
mod(a1,1)/0.6*b1 will work out the payment


if hours and minutes are in A1

(int(a1)+mod(a1,1)/0.6)*b1 will work out the payment

Don't you want 30 minutes to convert to 0.5?

If you have time worked in hh:mm format in A1 and hourly rate in B1

=A1*B1*24
