Weeknum
Hi. I'm having a problem with the WEEKNUM function. I have Excel 2002 and
the formula works fine. When I transfer the file to another machine with Excel 2003, it will not recognize the command. If I look at Date functions within Excel 2003, WEEKNUM is not one of the options .... Does anyone know why this is? Thanks, Mike. |

If this function is not available, and returns the #NAME? error, install and
load the Analysis ToolPak add-in. Tools|addins You may need the installation CD (depending on what was installed). Mike D. wrote: Hi. I'm having a problem with the WEEKNUM function. WEEKNUM is part of the Analysis ToolPak. That will need to be installed on
any machine in which you want to use it. To install: Select Tools Select Add-Ins Check the box next to "Analysis ToolPak" Click OK HTH, Elkar "Mike D." wrote: Hi. I avoid the AT functions when possible for the very reason you describe.
Here is another way to get the week number: http://www.rondebruin.nl/weeknumber.htm http://www.cpearson.com/excel/weeknum.htm Here is a great place to find substitutes for most of the AT functions: http://www.dicks-blog.com/archives/2...-addin-part-2/ -- Damon Longworth 2006 East Coast Excel User Conference April 19/21st, 2006 Holiday Inn, Boardwalk Atlantic City, New Jersey Early Bird Registration Now Open!! www.ExcelUserConference.com 2006 UK Excel User Conference Summer, 2006 London, England "Mike D." wrote in message ...
