Help me I've forgotten the formula and I can't figure it out

Can someone be kind to me and remind me how to format a number within
the formula.
I've got this formula ="TOTAL COST - "&(SUMIF(PC,"1200",Db)) and I want
the (SUMIF(PC,"1200",Db)) to return as a currency value, so the output
would be TOTAL COST - $9000.00

I remember doing it before but I've since lost my bookmarks and I've
been unsuccesful in finding it again.
