Trigonometric Function

How would I use Excel in order to find the best fit function of a cosine
curve. I've searched the forum with no success. Any help would be
appreciated.

Trigonometric Function

How may parameters in your equation?
Three as in y=A*COS(Bx)+C ?
Or two as in y = A*COS(X)+C ?
In Case 2 I would use a linear transformation Y=A*X+VC with X=COS(x)
In Case1 I would use Solver
best wishes
