vlookup worksheet match in macro
I have been reading these posts for some time and was wondering if some
one here could help me with a Macro I am using? The Spreadsheet CPLHier.xls is open when the Vlookup is called. Everyday the name of the worksheet where the vlookup is being used is decremented to the date of that day, for instance: CPLHierarchy_02-10-06 "=VLOOKUP(RC[-3],[CPLHier.xls]CPLHierarchy!R2C1:R50000C5,5,FALSE)" Currently I am being force to change the name of the worksheet to: CPLHierarchy so it matched the Vlookup formular, Is there way to use a wildcard unstead? I tried reading the help files and tried a using 'CPLHierarchy_*-*-*' and 'CPLHierarchy*' Thanks for any help with this............ Joe |
