showing as 38317

WHY IS MY DATE FORMATTED COLUMN SHOWING A FIVE DIGIT NUMBER?

Excel stores dates as a serial number derived from the number of days
elapsed since the beginning of 1900.

To convert the serial numbers to visual date representations,. try
formatting the relevant cells with a date (or custom) format.
