operations on arrays
to make this easier, i'll start off with an example. i have two named ranges, and i want to find the sum of their differences. to do this, i use an array formula: {=sum(a-b)}, which gives a single number. now, how do i do calculations on that result without having to do a calculation on that particular cell? in other words, i want to write a long formula in a single cell that operates on that array result. thanks. -- dreamz ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dreamz's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=26462 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=506816 |
