Is it possible to lock cells together while organizing?
I have a definition database i am about to organize alphabetically. Is there a way i can lock two cells together so when the rows in one cell are organized, they stay with the cell beside them (one cell has word, one has definitions) -- everlong |

Try this, Select the data you want sorted (the 2 columns) including the first row that include the title (ie: word meaning) 1)Go to the menu Data 2)Click on sort 3)Tick My list has header row. then you will see that for the choice of sorting you will have word and meaning. Then when you sort the pair for each row will keep together.
