simple chart question
I am missing a very simple step here. I would like to create a simple chart
that tracks two series of data. I am using the chart wizard and the one line in the chart is picking up the data fine but I am missing the step to create a second line on the same chart. Thanks for your help. -- Shooter |
simple chart question
Shooter,
Go to ChartSource Data. There are two tabs in the dialog box that opens. Go to the second tab, "series". On the left side, click the "Add" button to add a new series. Enter the appropriate x and y values in the areas to the right and below and you should be all set. In the future, when you make the chart, you can first hold down the control key while selecting the different regions of your data. That will allow you to select regions that aren't next to each other. Then, when you make your chart, all your data will "probably" be included like you want.
