How to enter symbols for subset or element of a subset in Excel?
Use the Symbol font. These characters are in the ASCII range
199-207. Enter =CHAR(ROW()) in cell A1 and fill down to A255. Look around row 200 for the symbol you want. To enter the symbol, set the font to Symbol and hold down the ALT key and type the four-character number (including leading zero) of the symbol on the numeric keypad (not the numbers above the letters on the keyboard). -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "rwcita" wrote in message ...
