chart help
I am stuck trying to do a line chart, I have some data values in 3 columns
ranging from B1 to B31 and F1 to F31 and J1 to J31 In the b column I have data in b2: b6: b11: b16: b21: b26: b31 the same cell numbers have data for F column and J column. In the a: column I have a day column A1:A31 numbered I am having problems trying to graphically represent levels in B F and J columns in 5 day intevals ( column A) when I try to do a line chart I can't get the lines to go to every fifth day in the a column, I sure it is very easy to to, but I just can't see it Nadia |

Hi Nadia,
Try X-Y scatter graph. Excel's line graphs are never what I expect, X-Y scatter automatically uses the leftmost column as x axis data then plots the other columns separately as y values. Ken Johnson |

Hi Nadia,
Make sure you only select columns A, B, F and J before inserting the X-Y scatter chart. Select A and B down to row 31 then press control while you select F1 and drag down to F31 then again for J1 to J31. Ken Johnson |
