Controlling Linked Data to Workbooks
 

Hi,
Using Excell 2000.
Workbook 1 = Employees Name changes
This workbook links to many other workbooks.
How can I control the name changes & other data to only change in workbooks
beyond the date I entered them.
Example:
book 1=
Employees Names/////Federal tax%////StateTax%
Joe .05 .01
Mark .06 .02
Bob
If I change Mark in workbook 1, how do you formulate the value to change
only to the assigned linked data for that month and every workbook after
that. I do not want the data to change for the previous months on my
worksheets.
I notice when I change Mark all the sheets change. Just want to change on
the date I enter the changed data.
Or when I change the % to Federal tax. I don't want all the sheets to
change. I will have a false reading..
