Number value based on date function
OKay here is what I have. I have a drawing log for a construction site that I
am trying to create. Now, we regularly get revisions to the drawings and they have to be tracked. Right now we are up to revision 5. So, in cell D46 I have a validated list of all the dates that we received the revisions. In cells G46 through N46 there are blanks for each revision. What my boss wants is if 10/19/2004 corresponds to revision 4 he wants G46 to show "0", H46 to show "1", I46 to show "2" etc. I have two columns off to the side one has the date and the adjancent has the corresponding revision number. I have named this list REV_DATES. Is there a way so that if I enter 10/19/2004 in D46 that cells G46 through K46 will show 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 respectively? Is this enough info? I can email the sheet if needed Thanks NeilM |
