Default pivot tables

Is there any way that I can hide one of the fields of the pivot?
Basically I have created a pivot with fields like Department, Level,
Location, # People... which is customized based on a particular Department
only, but i do not want to "show" the "Department" pivot field in the report.

Minerva,
If you want to hide an element in the field, on the right side of each
field is a drop-down that you can use to un-check a particular value.
If you want to hide the field itself, right-click on the field and select
HIDE.
