how do i do this?
 
col A are dates in the format of 01/01/06 row 7 thru 61

col f are dollar amounts row 7 thru 61

row 62 col f i want a total but only if the date in col a is =
today()

any ideas

i've messed with thing long enough without results

Here you go...try this:

F62: =SUMIF(A7:A61,"="&TODAY(),F7:F61)
